We had the pleasure of covering the 2018 Black Alumni Ball at The Renaissance Hotel in Washington, DC.

The Black Alumni Ball is a formal event aimed to connect Black Professionals and leaders. Their mission is to enhance networking capabilities and promote unity while entertaining peers in a social and cultural environment.

This years Ball was hosted by King Flexxa, Dominique Da Diva, Jae Murphy, Izzy the DJ along with Johnny Graham & The Grooves and sponsored by Courvoisier Cognac.

Aside from all of the fun and networking at this events, the Black Alumni Ball also gave back to charity at this event. They gave away scholarships for high school students in Washington, DC and neighboring areas in Charlotte, NC to assist with the financial burden of entering their next level of education. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the North Star College Preparatory Academy of Boys PCS to assist with the development of programming and procurement of classroom equipment beneficial for student success.
