HBO’s “Game Of Thrones” Leads The Pack With 32 Nominations

The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations have been announced. HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” shattered the record for most nominations in a single year with 32.

In addition to having the top show, HBO also beat its 2015 record of 126 total nominations, gaining 137 nominations overall. Netflix came in second with a total of 117 nominations, while NBC earned 58 and Amazon had 47 respectively.

With all the great shows that have come out, you can expect this year’s Emmys to be a must-watch. The award show honors television shows that aired from June 1, 2018, and ended May 31, 2019.

Behind GOT, Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” has 20 nominations, HBO’s “Chernobyl” with (19), “Saturday Night Live” (18), HBO’s “Barry” and FX’s  “Fosse/Verdon” (17 apiece), and Netflix’s “When They See Us” (16).

A host has not been found yet and the show airs live at 8 p.m. Eastern on Fox.
