2nd shooting in 24 hours reported on the same Southeast DC block

DC Police are investigating the second shooting that took place in less than 24 hours on the same block in Southeast.

Police reported a shooting that took place around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday in the 2700 block of Langston Place, SE.

More details are to come but officers stated that the two suspects were in a green Jeep Cherokee.

The shooting took place literally less than a day after another shooting around 12:30 a.m. at 2727 Langston Place, SE.

DC Police having been patrolling the area around the clocks, due to the recent shootings. The incident in Sunday took place after a large block party.

It is unclear if both shootings are related at this point. Anyone with indormon the shootings are advise to call DC police at (202) 727-9099
