7-year-old Maryland boy uses $600 of savings to create coronavirus care packages
A 7-year-old boy from Maryland spends $600 of his savings to purchase and package 65 “coronavirus care packs.”
Cavanaugh Bell saved up money from two birthdays and three Christmases to create care packages and pack 31 hot meals from a local restaurant to serve senior citizens.
He is also helping local businesses that were affected after Governor Hogan’s shut down restaurants last Monday.
At the age of 5, Bell started a non-profit called “Cool and Dope” with the mission to eradicate bullying and youth suicide through political and social action by his 18th birthday on November 20, 2030.
Bell became a philanthropist and anti-bullying activist after being bullied to the point of having suicidal thoughts.
Cavanaugh Bell plans to lead the Anti-Bullying Rally in D.C. in October.
