Blake Griffin & Detroit Pistons Agree to Contract Buyout

Six-time NBA All-Star Blake Griffin and the Detroit Pistons have agreed to contract buyout. Griffin is now an unrestricted free agent and hopes to go to an NBA championship-contending team.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski was the first to report this breaking news. Griffin has been out of the team’s lineup since February 15.  This season the power forward was averaging 12.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists for the Pistons. For his career, he has averaged 21.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists.
