Bradley Beal’s game winning layup helps the Wizards beat the Dallas Mavericks

The Washington Wizards have just gotten their third win in their last four games following a close Friday night win over the Dallas Mavericks. Down by five points with 1:49 left in the game, the Wizards outscored the Mavs 7-1 culminated by a Bradley Beal layup to escape with a win on their home floor.

Bradley Beal led all scorers with 29 points adding eight assists and five assists while Davis Bertans came off the bench to finish with 20 points and eight rebounds. Ish Smith finished with 14 points, six rebounds and six assists.

In his second game back in the lineup for the Wizards, rookie Rui Hachimura finished with 17 points and six rebounds while Shabazz Napier made his Wizards debut coming off the bench to score 14 points.

Seth Curry led the Mavericks in scoring coming off the bench to score 20 points. Tim Hardaway Jr. finished with 19 points, seven assists and four rebounds. Kristaps Porzingis struggled shooting scoring just 11 points on 3/9 shooting adding nine rebounds.

The Wizards will be back in action on Sunday when they play the Memphis Grizzlies at home. This will be one of their last three games before the All-Stat break.
