BSU Lady Bulldogs blast Shaw 73- 49

A blast to 10-3

Another day, another game where the Lady bulldogs of Bowie State University assert their dominance, and this time the victim was the Lady Bears of Shaw.

The win improves puts the Bulldogs in a great position with a 10-3 overall and 3-1 in CIAA play.

Offensively, there leader was senior Kiara Colston (Burtonsville, Md.) who had a season high of 23 points on a astounding  9-of-13 shooting from the field to go with four rebounds and five assists.

Fellow senior Kyah Proctor (Capital Heights, Md.) chipped in 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds.

Stifling Defense From the Lady Bulldogs

They held the Lady Bears to an abysmal 36 percent from the floor (18-of-50), and horrid 12.5 percent from three point range (1-of-8) and only 63.2 percent from the free throw line (12-of-19).

Catch The Next Game

The Bulldogs will play the Lady Broncos of Fayetteville State its next conference game on January 8th with game time set for 5:30 p.m.
