Coolin’ Cal – “Lose You” (Single)

DMV Artist Coolin’ Cal just released his new single “Lose You” featuring Tre Savels & Renee Cout. Refusing to put out nothing but quality work, Coolin’ Cal made a song based upon pain and struggles that many people could relate to. “Lose You” is a modern-day love song, different from the average love song that is currently out now. The Virginia native’ made this song for people going through a hardship in their relationship, despite how difficult things may have gotten. He wants them to know they should never lose faith and work through the pain and struggles. As long as you all have each other, it will all work out in the end.

Ca’ wrote this song for anyone going through a difficult time in a relationship where they know it’s worth it and things have been working well but outside forces keep coming in and trying to put a fork in the path. Although the hook is simple and gets straight to the point, both verses tell stories of tumultuous relationships and the struggles of staying positive and keeping faith that everything will work out when the odds were against them from the very start.

“Lose You” was recorded early in the morning and the song came together effortlessly. From the beat to the hooks/verses Cal and Tre knocked it out in under an hour. “Tre took it to the studio to mix and Renee heard it and wanted to hop on and I’m glad she did. What she brought to the song gave it a whole new dynamic and I’m grateful for that, she killed it” said Coolin’ Cal.
