DC homicide detectives called to the scene of stabbing outside of church soup kitchen

D.C. homicide detectives have reported a stabbing outside of a church soup kitchen on Virginia Avenue, NW on Tuesday.

Police say they have one person in custody after the incident outside of the Western Presbyterian Church in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of the district.

At the time of the incident, they said the victim was neither conscious nor breathing. This victim has not been identified yet.
