DC Police Still Searching For Driver Who Struck A Pedestrian.

Metropolitan police are still looking for a vehicle that struck a pedestrian, who succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday. The crash occurred around 9 p.m. on Tuesday in the 1500 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northeast.

Police are looking for a gray minivan with a black bike rack on the roof. The vehicle was traveling west when it struck the person – who was not using a crosswalk.

The minivan sped away from the scene after striking the person, police say. If you have any information that might help police, call (202) 727-9099.
