DMV Gives Back Through Celebrity Benefit Concert!

TheMediaPrince.com & AMPD are hosting the “What’s Going On: DMV Digital Benefit Concert taking place tonight Saturday, July 25 at 8 PM via YouTube and Facebook.

What’s Going On: DMV Benefit Concert will have to feature special guest appearances from some of the top artists and creatives in the DMV such as Angie Ange (Syndicated ‘Morning Hustle Show’, 93.9WKYS ), Ari LennoxBig Flock, DJ Quicksilva and Dominique Da Diva (93.9WKYS), Funsho (The Voice: S15), Malik DOPE (Currently on America’s Got Talent S15), Maya Milan (BET’s – The Next Big Thing S1 Finalist), Q Da Fool, Ronald Moten and more!
The Benefit Concert is directed by Zeplyn Tillman (the Creator of AMPD), and executive produced by Angie Ange (Host of The Morning Hustle), The Media Prince (CEO of TheMediaPrince.com & TMZ Contributor). During the event, Tillman will be addressing current issues such as COVID-19, Police Brutality, Mental Health, and more!
They took the time to express their thoughts and feelings about the music and culture in the community. This is what they had to say:
“Over the past 4 months both artists and fans have unfortunately missed the opportunity to connect in traditional concert settings. We wanted to create a piece that not only provides commentary on the current topics affecting our culture, but also provides some long overdue entertainment from some of our area’s top creatives.”

All proceeds from the digital benefit concert will go to Martha’s Table for their continued efforts in the fight against hunger, helping with education, providing health & wellness services for our communities, and support for our families.

Martha’s Table is a non-profit organization, an active charity, and a volunteer center located in Washington, D.C. Their mission is to support strong children, strong families, and strong communities by increasing access to high-quality education, healthy food, and family and community support.

Abu Sillah is Business Owner from Prince George's County, MD. He serves as the CEO of The DMV Daily and Marketing Manager of The Wig Cafe. Outside of business and media, Abu is a middle school teacher and Promotions Assistant for RadioOne DC. He has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and an M.A. from Bowie State University.
