The DMV Daily – Tell us about your single.

Luh Xrvndo – The single was really something I was playing around with kinda like a freestyle. I put facts about my life and what’s going on in life into this single.

The DMV Daily – Who inspired you to make music?

Luh Xrvndo – My older brother “Damone” who is deceased. He inspired me when I was in the 6th grade. I use to just sit on the floor in my grandmother’s room and watch him write lyrics. We ain’t have WiFi at my grandmother’s house or none of that so he would play a song and turned it down a little so he could hear himself rap instead of the other rapper. The first song I wrote to was “Sure thing” but it was the Lil Wayne version cause my older brother was obsessed with Lil Wayne as well as Gherbo.

The DMV Daily – How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Luh Xrvndo – I honestly feel the music I make is for the people who went through what I went through; from having no food ..sometimes no water and no lights for months. Your mother can’t stop drinking because her past haunts her and you have seen things you shouldn’t see at a young age. I feel my music talk to the streets as well I lost my older brother to gun violence he was set up by his own friends and I know A LOT of people in this world can relate to that. Can relate to the pain and agony I’ve endured these past 20 years.

The DMV Daily – What is your creative process like?

Luh Xrvndo – Creative process? Ehh it doesn’t take much really I just need a quiet place and marijuana to calm my mind and nerves. The marijuana helps me express and really tell everything how it is ion care how deep it is.

The DMV Daily – Who would you most like to collaborate with?

Luh Xrvndo – Gherbo, Montana of 300, Lil Wayne, Polo G, & Lil Zay Osama …a lot of people told me that my music kinda relates to “Lil Snupe” well back then that is. If Lul Snupe was still alive he would be at the top of my list.

The DMV Daily – What is one message you would give to your fans?

Luh Xrvndo – Fans? Naa I don’t call people my fans everybody is a SUPPORTER in my eyes. One thing everybody needs to understand is everybody doesn’t need to be gangster, you don’t have to be what you see on Tv or Social Media. I’m not gonna lie it took me a long time to realize that and I don’t want that for my fans who portray themselves like their gangster or street/hood.

The DMV Daily – What is the most useless talent you have?

Luh Xrvndo – Art…I would only say art because I fell off from it because of my music career. I picked up drawing from my older brother as well but after a while I wasn’t feeling it anymore.

The DMV Daily – What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?

Luh Xrvndo – Hmm, that’s a good question, I probably would’ve taken the drawing more seriously than I did.

The DMV Daily – Where have you performed?

Luh Xrvndo – I haven’t performed nowhere yet but hopefully soon I’ve been looking around trying.

The DMV Daily – How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

Luh Xrvndo – Music is not just in one place anymore ..it’s all around the world now. We don’t need to go to a music store or none of that now because it’s easily obtainable.

The DMV Daily – Which famous musicians do you admire?

Luh Xrvndo – At this moment I admire a lot of musicians it’s hard to pick, because I love the way Montana of 300 doesn’t have a filter when he raps he tells everything that went on or going on in his life he never holds back. With Gherbo it’s kinda similar but it’s more so how Herb carries himself like I wanna carry myself the way he does ..sharp-minded.

The DMV Daily – What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?

Luh Xrvndo – Conceal Weapon Charge

The DMV Daily – What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Luh Xrvndo – Be yourself and don’t ever let no one change who you are ..& always remember who you are.

The DMV Daily – If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

Luh Xrvndo – Give artist more of a voice and more control with THEIR music. The industry is not really something I wanna get into even tho I love what I do and I wanna do it forever ..I don’t trust the industry.

The DMV Daily – What’s next for you?

Luh Xrvndo – What’s next? Nothing but the TOP! I’m going to further my career & be the biggest rapper whoever did it.
