Happy Birthday Rihanna

On be half of he DMV, Let’s wish Robyn Rihanna Fenty a healthy and happy 30th birthday!

Honestly we are all happy to celebrate her birth; Rihanna is our millennial fantasies come to life. She turned her life around at age 16, and thank heaven she did. It wasn’t common for a young singer of color to go into acting, modeling, fragrance, cosmetics, philanthropy, etc. and make it by being herself. All the while she was far away from her home in Barbados. Here’s to 30 more years of sharing your gift with us Riri!

According to statistics, Rihanna has been nominated over 600 times and earned more than 200 accolades for her impact in music, philanthropy, fashion, fragrance, cosmetics and more. On Billboard’s Hot 100, Riri has had 14 no. 1 songs, and 39 in the top 10. Her latest album ‘Anti’ reached no. 1 two years ago on this date. And since then her latest releases, ‘LOYALTY,’ and ‘Wild Thoughts,’ have been topping the charts and been nominated for best collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, Bryson Tiller, and DJ Khaled.

In the past year, she’s received ‘Humanitarian of the Year’ from Harvard University, become the all-time no.1 artist on Billboard’s Pop Songs airplay chart, and was even honored by the Bajan Prime Minister with her hometown street being renamed after her. The bad gyal has accomplished so much all before she’s 30, and she’s not done with us yet.

Rihanna has gifted us with her innovation and made fuzzy pink slippers, creepers, and black bobs all the rage. Fenty Corp made $72 million in its first month and Fenty Beauty was named one of Time’s “Best Inventions in 2017.” It seems every industry she steps into she makes a grand entrance, and this June RihNavy will be coming out to support her in “Ocean’s Eight.”

2018 is already set to be a fabulous year for Rihanna, and maybe an album release too!
