
Georgetown flipped the game after halftime and pulled away from Creighton for a 76–68 win Wednesday night at Capital One Arena. The Hoyas controlled the second half 49–39, extending their win streak to four games and improving to 13–10 overall and 5–7 in BIG EAST play. Creighton slipped to 12–11 on the season and 6–6 in conference action.
KJ Lewis set the tone with a dominant all-around performance. He scored 22 points, relentlessly attacked the rim, and earned frequent trips to the free-throw line, where he converted 11 of 14 attempts. Lewis also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out three assists, keeping Georgetown steady during key stretches.
Malik Mack followed closely, pouring in 20 points with confident shot-making. He knocked down two three-pointers and went 10-for-11 at the stripe, while adding six rebounds and two assists. Mack’s efficiency helped Georgetown maintain momentum as the lead grew late.
Inside, Vince Iwuchukwu delivered a physical presence. He finished with 14 points on six made field goals and secured 10 rebounds to post a double-double. Caleb Williams matched him on the glass with 10 rebounds, helping Georgetown control the paint and limit second-chance opportunities.
The Hoyas shared the ball effectively, recording 13 assists as a team. Lewis and Williams led the way with three apiece. Georgetown shot 22-of-63 from the field and connected on eight shots from beyond the arc. Defensively, Georgetown dictated the game. The Hoyas forced 16 turnovers, swiped 10 steals, and converted those mistakes into 21 points. They also owned the rebounding battle 46–38, closing the door on any late Creighton push.
With confidence building and momentum firmly on their side, Georgetown continues to trend upward as BIG EAST play tightens.
