Kevin Hart Reveals Jokes He Would’ve Told With Stephen Colbert

Kevin Hart Oscars

Comedian Kevin Hart appeared on “The Late Night Show with Stephen Colbert,” Wednesday night. In this appearance, he discussed not changing the way how he handled the controversial tweets from a few years back.

The homophobic tweets that resurfaced stirred a lot of controversy for Hart. It got to the point where Hart decided to step down as host for the Oscars.

After a full day of interviews, Hart visibly was over talking about it and came to terms with what went down. Hart went on to say:

“It’s an onion – no matter how many times you keep peeling it, it’s just endless. There is no end to it. I apologized, I apologized again, I said I apologized before, I apologized after that apology. It just keeps going.”

“My job is me, putting myself out there 24/7, I’m authentic, I’m honest, I give you all of me, there is no version of me that’s fake,” Hart said. “The bonus of doing that, is that when things like this happen, you’re supposed to understand and know that I’m so true to me that there is no b.s… At some point you just have to be ok with you. I’m ok with me and all the decisions I’ve made in my life.” – Kevin Hart

What Would’ve Been

Colbert then moved on to ask what would’ve been included in Hart’s routine for hosting the Awards. Hart shared he was geared towards making people relax before they become an infamous meme on social media.

He shared some pictures of memes of actresses Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep, and Denzel Washington.
