Kill: Vol 1: A DMV Original’ EP review

DMV project of the year goes to…..

Chaz French, yes big praise and recognition to one of my favorite DMV projects in recent memory. “Kill: Vol 1: A DMV Original”  is a perfect embodiement of DMV culture. What made it so amazing was it’s mixture of different DMV flows, features, and musical versatility. Chaz French has personally made my favorite DMV project since Wale’s “A Mixtape About Nothing”. The artists featured in the six track ep are  Fat Trel, Innanet James, Big Flock, Lul Big Brother, Matt McGhee and Q Da Fool. They assisted French in telling some of his stories coming up in the DMV. French has the potential to be a big time, major artist one day and he’s making sure the DMV comes with him! Trust me, crank to EP in your car to a move and you’ll be lit and woke at the same time.

Quote from the French himself to mass appeal

“I’ve had an incredible 2017 with my debut album out and all—but so has the DMV when it comes to hip hop,” – Chaz French
