Kodak Black Links Up With Jennaske To Create ‘Die With You’

Kodak Black releases a new single featuring Jennaske called “Die With You.” This single was released on May 11th and managed to land the 11th spot on YouTube’s top trending videos.

Kodak has always shown how proud he is to be Haitian, throughout his catalog, he still represents his country by referring to himself as Zoe and even including bars in Creole. He is also very loyal to his people, the label he founded in 2017, Sniper Gang, consists of a roster of artists and producers he grew up with and family members such as his brother, John Wicks are signed to the label as well. His new single features Jennaske, a female rapper from Queens, New York. In 2017, she played Kodak’s love interest in his “Snot Thot” music video. Jennaske is of Haitian descent, which was one of the main reasons why Kodak Black was able to connect and collaborate with the Queen’s rapper.

The single, “Die With You,” featuring Jennaske, is a sentimental song that expresses the love and admiration he has for a significant other. In the lyrics, he discusses having a strong connection with a significant other and would want to spend the rest of his life this woman. Jennaske verse includes her loyalty, love, and gratitude she has for her significant other. Her smooth and melodic flow components Black’s gritty trap sound. That significant other is Jennaske.

Though Kodak is currently incarcerated he still manages to provide his fans with new music and features. Throughout his career, he has faced several controversies but is using this time to redeem himself and grow as an artist. Jennaske cosigned Black’s by stating:

“I’m ready for the world to see the maturation in Kodak and the love we share.” Jennaske
