Lady Bulldogs Show Dominance Against Fayetteville State

So much Lady Bulldog, so much dominance!

The Bowie State Bulldogs Women’s basketball team continued to assert their dominance on Monday night at home against the visiting Lady Broncos of Fayetteville State with a score of 72-51.

The victory brings the Lady Bulldogs to an impressive 11-3 record and 4-1 in CIAA conference play.

Three Lady bulldogs were in double figures with Senior Kiara Colston leading the way with 16 points.

Senior Kyah Proctor was not too far behind with 11 points on the night, and Sophmore Amel Duggins had a career high 11 points off the bench.

Bowie State held advantages in rebounds (54-46), which was a season-high, points off turnovers (19-4), second chance points (16-8) and bench points (34-23).

Their defense was amazing holding Fayetteville State ended the night just under 30 percent (29.4) in field goal shooting (20-of-68).

The Lady Bulldogs will be traveling to North Carolina to play the Lady Blue Bears of Livingstone College on Wednesday with tip-off set for 5:30 sharp.
