Man dies after getting hit by two cars in Prince George’s County

A man is dead after being hit by two cars Saturday night in Prince George’s County.

According to the police, the man was first hit by a car around 11:35 p.m. on the 5900 block of Silver Hill Road in District Heights. Moments later he was hit by an SUV.

First responders pronounced the man dead on the scene. Police officer talked to both drivers involved and are still investigating why the man was in the roadway.

Due to the crash, Silver Hill Road was shut down for hours but it is now back open.
