Man killed in Saturday morning shooting in Northeast D.C.
WASHINGTON, DC
A man is dead after a shooting Saturday morning in Northeast D.C.
Police say it happened around 10:20 a.m. Saturday at Rhode Island Avenue and 12th Street, Northeast. Officers found the victim conscious and breathing, but said Saturday afternoon that he later died at a hospital. Police identified the victim as 19-year-old Daquan Hankins of Northeast D.C.
Police are offering up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.
