Old Glory DC Announces 2021 Match Themes

Old Glory DC announced a wide variety of specially-themed matches to celebrate those closest to our club and create an opportunity for our fans to enjoy a rugby game with others with similar interests. Themed days typically include unique entertainment, food items available on the concourse, limited-edition merchandise, or festive on-field experiences! More information on themes and promotions will be available closer to each match.

2021 Matches Themes

  • Celtic and Club Heritage Celebration on Sunday, April 25th vs New England Free Jacks
  • Healthcare Heroes and First Responders Day with MedStar Health on Sunday, May 16th vs Seattle Seawolves
  • Armed Forces Day on Sunday, May 30th vs Rugby United New York
  • Pacific Islanders Celebration on Saturday, June 12th vs NOLA Gold
  • Red, White, Blue, and PRIDE with Team DC on Saturday, July 10th vs San Diego Legion
  • Cuisine Solutions Cup with Cuisine Solutions on Saturday, July 17th vs Austin Gilgronis

 

The first themed day, Celtic and Club Heritage Celebration kicks off on Sunday, April 25th at 1 PM as Old Glory DC welcomes the New England Free Jacks to Segra Field! They invited their supporters to join Old Glory DC players and staff in either celebrating your own rugby clubs by wearing their club jerseys and t-shirts, celebrate our partners in the Scottish Rugby Union across the pond with SRU gear or more generally represent with Irish, Welsh, or other Celtic-themed rugby kits. Scottish Rugby jerseys will be available for purchase at the merchandise table along with a limited-edition Old Glory DC Celtic-inspired shirt, and bagpipers will perform during pre-game and at halftime. Players and clubs are encouraged to bring their banners and club flags to the stadium.
