Josh Gordon Suspended Indefinitely by the NFL
New England Patriots Josh Gordon received an indefinite suspension from the NFL Thursday. This is Gordon’s fifth suspension in his career. It stems from violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport Gordon wasn’t suspended for one violation, but for multiple violations. The additional substances have not been named.
Prior to the suspension being announced, Gordon took to social media to announce he is taking a break from football.

The possibility of Gordon’s career ending is somewhat high. A lot of people following his story believe this was his last chance. If Gordon wants to come back he has to prove to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell that he is ready and clean.
Only Gordon knows what he needs to do to make it back in the good graces of the NFL. With training camps beginning in July that gives him a time frame of 9 months regain his mental focus.
Gordon finishes the season with 737 yards on 41 catches. He played in 11 games and caught 4 touchdowns.
