POPEYES ANNOUNCES TEMPORARY LEAVE OF NEW CHICKEN SANDWICH

For the past week, black twitter has been spiraling off of the new Spicy Chicken sandwich distributed from Popeye’s causing fun twitter beef between Chick-Fil-A, Popeyes and even Wendy’s who entered the chat once. Its no secret that Chick-Fil-A has been killing the game for a while now, but it is safe to say they can now rest being as though Popeye’s recently announced that they will be temporarily removing the item off of their menu after have selling out. It is safe to say the infamous sandwich that has caused fights between customers and even customers versus workers will be missed but in the mean time, Chick-Fil-A  still doesn’t seem to be running out of anything, anytime soon. Sure this will be a great break for the hard working employee’s who were going viral through a meme of what seemed to be and stressed Popeye’s worker, but people who have never tried the sandwich still doesn’t seem to understand where the hype came from. Because of Black Twitter Popeye’s has made over $17 Million in advertising without advertising anything themselves showing how powerful their tweets can really be.
