The Rising Rapper Was Arrested For A Double Murder Involving Two Close Friends

Williams and Thomas were both murdered last Oct.

Jammell Demons and Cortlen Henry have both been arrested in the double murder for 21-year-old Anthony Williams and 19-year-old Christopher Thomas. The Miramar Police Department announced this earlier on Wednesday.

Demons who is better known as the rising Florida rapper YNW Melly turned himself in Wednesday and addressed the situation on his Instagram account. He claims he is innocent.

What We Know So Far

Williams and Thomas were killed on Oct. 26. of last year in an apparent drive by. Authorities are now saying that the drive-by was staged by Demons and Henry.

Henry faces charges of premeditated murder charges and was taken into custody and brought back to Broward County to face those charges. NBC 6 Miami reports that Henry appeared in bond court Wednesday and is due back there on Thursday. He is in the process of hiring a private attorney.

Williams was known as YNW Sakchaser and Thomas was known as YNW Juvy. The two were last reported to been seen alive at 3:20 a.m. in Fort Lauderdale. The two were announced dead by staff at the Memorial Miramar Hospital.
