Ravens CB Jimmy Smith, Family Safe After Being Robbed Gunpoint

Baltimore Ravens Jimmy Smith cornerback informed the team that he and his family were robbed at gunpoint after being followed from the Los Angeles International Airport.

The Ravens released an official statement:

“We are aware of the situation involving Jimmy Smith,” the Ravens said in a statement. “We have spoken with Jimmy and he and his family are safe.”

No other details have been given by the team or Smith. The spokesmen from the Los Angeles Police Department and the L.A. Sheriff’s Department said they were unaware of the situation and no police report was made.
