R&B Singer/Netflix Star Dana Vaughns Releases Nostalgic 90s/2000s Themed Single Titled “We Can Party”

Following the recent release of his debut EP “Familiar Strangers”, Dana Vaughns is bringing back the classic 90’s 00’s nostalgic sound on his newest track “We Can Party”. Produced by Vaughns with fellow collaborator Max Sheppard, the track features all analog instruments to give a full upbeat record. The track streams influence from contemporary r&b artists such as Usher, R-Kelly, Jodeci, and 112. “We Can Party” is guaranteed to set the vibe for any celebration.

“We Can Party” is Vaughn’s second follow-up release since Vaughn’s 6-track debut EP “Familiar Strangers”, which gave fans a first glimpse of what Vaughns has in store as a solo artist. The R&B/soul and pop blend project features his latest single ‘Lovey Dovey’ and other previously released tracks “Sweet Tea” and “Rough Rider”. The project features collaborations from Jordan Ward, on “Lovey Dovey” and also Mike River (formerly member of Mindless Behavior) on “On The Side”.

Now looking ahead Dana is currently in the studio working on new music for his forthcoming project due for release later this year. He is also starring as Marcus Jones in Mindy Kaling’s newest Netflix series, “Never Have I Ever” which premiered Monday, April 27th. The series currently serves as Netflix’s number one.

 It was a lot of fun playing Marcus. He gave me the opportunity to live out some of the typical high school days and parties I was never a part of due to my work schedule as a kid. It’s a big step in the right direction for the masses to see such a diverse show stand its own on the charts.
