Fashion is an art that allows people to express their inner thoughts. It gives a person the chance to speak many words without physically doing so.

The city of Baltimore is art in a physical form. The world usually showcases the negative points but often forgets the beauty that Charm City has created for so many people. From music to fashion to entertainment, Baltimore has discovered some special talent.

Today we focus on one entrepreneur that has found a way to create a lifestyle that she has always imagined. Nae created Virago the Label in 2018. She started her luxury street brand while being a college student. Nae was lost and eager to find something that fit her lifestyle.

Growing up Nae tried many things such as wig installation and make-up but immediately found out that the service business was not for her. She knew that she has always been a natural-born hustler. With her having such a creative passion for fashion she decided to take the leap of faith to put a brand in her own hands.

She created “Virago The Label” with Virago meaning a dominant woman. The name fits perfectly with the life that Nae has had growing up. Always being the strong female that could handle practically anything. She is an example of a hard worker, passionate, loving, and caring person who wants more for life. Nae knew that the average stigma for creating an income was not the only way to reach success. So she thought deep to find something that can touch many lives without having to physically do so.

Nae’s inspiration came from being in a place of discomfort. Being a college student is quite difficult. Moving out of state, learning a new way of living, and adjusting to a completely different atmosphere. She knew that her hustler spirit would create something great but she didn’t know that this would be the turning point in her life.

Nae is currently one of the rising brands that the streets of Baltimore are talking about. Virago The Label has been spotted on many influencers and it doesn’t seem to slow down any. Nae has created arguably the best brands that hit the streets of Baltimore.

Nae is looking to inspire young women all across the world to find themselves mentally. She stated that “until you change the way you think, you will always come across the same problems in life”.  Nae wants to teach young entrepreneurs how to manage money, adapt to the hardships of their business, and dealing with adversity. She understands the troubles people may face and can be the voice of women across the world.

Be sure to check Nae’s streetwear brand, Virago The Label website to purchase their clothing. Follow the business page on Instagram @virago_thelabel
