The track “My Boo” was produced by Brandon : The FRIM Producer. You can watch the full video above.
Get to know TCB & featured singer/artist JBO + Heater Ceasar
The DMV Daily – Who inspired you to make music?
JBO – Everyday people around me are pushing me and the majority are telling me about the potential they saw in me on top of me already being a natural music lover.
Heater Ceasar- Okay so my brother first and foremost. He was the first person I seen take an interest in music He was the lead mic of the Go-Go band High Image. I used to see him write lyrics for them all the time.
For Band – How would you describe the music that you typically create?
TCB – The best word to describe the music we are trying to create is a vibe we are building music off of our natural feel for dc Gogo and attempting to translate it into something more universally recognized.
For JBO & Heater Cesar – What is your creative process like?
JBO – I sit around in the dark listening to beats until something comes to me…. or I can just be out and hear something I like, just from everyday conversations or old music. I draw all my ideas from it.
Heater Ceasar – I’m still old school. So I like to get my hands on the beats before the studio. Write to it & learn it by heart. That way, I can play with the flow in the booth. The emotion comes across better IMO.
Who would you most like to collaborate with?
TCB –  Industry artist:
Old Generation R&B: Stevie Wonder
New Generation R&B: Allen Stone
Old Generation: TI
New Generation: RODDY RICCH
For Band – What is one message you would give to your fans?
TCB – Never let someone tell you your vision cant be accomplished; stay tuned as we break some barriers.
For JBO & Heater Cesar – What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?
JBO –  Honestly, if it wasn’t for music, I don’t know where I would’ve been. The streets ain’t where it’s at and never was but for all my men that just wanted to see me perform or do music, I will keep pushing forward for them because they passed away. That’s my motivation to keep pushing foward.
Heater Ceasar- Honestly, I don’t see it that way. This s*** is a hobby for me. Just something I love to do. If it pops? it pops! I’m cool either way.
For Band – How would you say Social Media has impacted your music career?
TCB – Social Media has provided an engine for our career and products that weren’t an option 15 years ago. It allows us to reach our new fans and consumers that have never heard of us without having to depend on the major industry.
For JBO & Heater Cesar – What is the best advice you’ve been given?
JBO – The best advice I have ever been given was my men telling me ain’t nobody F***** with me and once I realized that, that’s when I really took off.
Heater Ceasar- Control what you can control. Always be prepared. Everything else will fall into place.
For Band – What’s next for you?
TCB – More music and more projects outside of the studio, we intend to leave our impact on the industry, not just our home city.
