Teen brought loaded gun to Maryland high school basketball game.

LEONARDTOWN, Md. – A 17-year-old boy faces weapons charges after police say he brought a loaded handgun to a high school basketball game.

Police say they found the gun on the boy after confronting a suspicious group of teenagers during the game Friday night at Leonardtown High School.

Police say the boy, who’s from Mechanicsville, will be charged as an adult. The investigation is ongoing.
