Give us a little background about you.

My Name Is Terry Sewell.. I am 22 years old.  I was born in Alexandria but raised in Dumfries Virginia. Moved to Stafford in like 2015 & picked up DJ’ing along the way from my brother & fell in love with music even more!! I was really more into sports when i was younger but i always wanted to learn something new music related.

Three unique things about you?
I really like art & i make cover art for myself & other artist but i really suck at drawing. I’m really to myself when i first meet a group of people but once i get to know them a little more i start to open up. I don’t really like going to clubs, parties, or events unless I’m DJ’ing.
Five words to describe you
I’m very kind. Very talkative once I’m comfortable around someone or people. Demanding at times when i need to get something finished or i want something. I’m very careful on what i do or who i hang around. Creative.
Brands you Dj for?
The Brands I DJ for are Lovelacemagazine & PHRXHVZION Records. My manager Niq Bohr runs Lovelacemagazine & my friend Pvvli runs PHRXHVZION Records.
Favorite tracks and samples you like to mix?
When it comes to music i like to mix i really like 90’s & early 2000’s music. I like the music that’s coming out now but i get more of a vibe when I’m mixing the old music i was listening to when i was younger.
Types and favorite events you mixed?
My favorite event i mixed was a event in Fredericksburg back in July hosted by Nineteen9D7 & Chad Billions. It was my very first outside event & the vibe of that whole event was amazing.
Artists and personalities you worked with?
I worked with very dope DJ’s (DJ Sweendawg, DJ Musicole, DJ NO LOOK, AN TY). I worked with a lot of dope artist (ConFromThe703, Phil God, Pvvli, Phrxh Lorenzo, Mitri, Paul William, $anchez, Cash Curt, 90 Wyse, Migo Arias,Luko, Gray Soul, FrankisRad.
Dream artists and host you would like to work with?
When it comes to artist i want to work with, i really want to work with a lot more DMV artist but if i had to choose one artist it would be TreezLowkey. He’s one of my favorite artist & someone i would really like to work with. Branching out to other artist in Florida, Texas & New York is something I plan on doing this year. I also want to work with more DJ’s.
Biggest influences?
My biggest influences are my brother, my manager Niq Bohr & my best friend Phil. My brother was the first one who actually believed in me when i first started DJ’ing even tho i was some shit. He helped me get better and pushed keep going & pushing me over my limits when i was really sure i was gonna be good at DJ’ing. My friend/manager Niq Bohr is one person who took me under his wing & really saw something in me.  My best friend Phil supported me since the beginning as well & he always tells me that i don’t need to pay attention to the criticism of others because i can’t please everyone.
