The U.S. Women’s Soccer team capped off the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup with a 2-0 win over the Netherlands to win back to back World Cups and their fourth overall.

The U.S. teams’ goals came from midfielder Rose Lavelle and star striker Megan Rapinoe.

Megan Rapinoe was awarded the adidas Golden Ball and Golden Boot for her play in the tournament. Striker Alex Morgan was awarded the adidas Silver Boot while Rose Lavelle got the Bronze Ball.

The U.S. scored 26 goals in World Cup play including a 13-0 win in the first game of group play against Thailand.

Alex Morgan was tied for first place with six goals in the World Cup while Megan Rapinoe was tied for third place with five goals. With forward Carli Lloyd’s three goals in the World Cup, the U.S. were the only team in the tournament to have three players score three goals or more.

The U.S. team also had six different players with two assists or more making them one of only two teams in the World Cup with at least three players with at least two assists (England 3).
