Wa Milli – “Medicine” (Music Video)

Published

on

Rising artist Wa Milli releases the visuals to his new single “Medicine,” directed by KelWithDaCam. The Southeast D.C. native talks about his street lifestyle and how he is sticking to the code. Just by listening to the chorus, you can already tell how life is Wa Milli, “I would never snake my dawg if I had the opportunity/ get in and get it off. I hustle like its two of me”.

When you listen to “Medicine,” you can feel Wa Milli’s pain through his flow and the beat. Never forgetting about his team, Wa Milli talks about his upbringing and makes it clear that if he eats, all his men are eating too. In the video, he makes references to the middle and working class, as they all need their medicine. By medicine, Wa Milli is referring to drugs, as people turn to drugs sometimes as a coping method.
