Washington Wizards get a home win against the Chicago Bulls

The Washington Wizards end a six-game home stand with a 126-114 win over the Chicago Bulls. This win gives the Wizards their fourth win in their last six games and gave the Chicago Bulls their sixth straight loss.

Seven players for the Washington Wizards scored in double figures opposed to four players for the Chicago Bulls. After the Bulls made the first shot of the game, the Wizards went on a 13-2 run to take the lead and would not relinquish it for the remainder of the game leading by as many as 21 points in the game.

After leading by as many as 17 points in the fourth quarter, the Bulls did their best to give themselves a chance to win cutting the lead down to six with 2:33 left in the game. However, the Wizards were able to hold strong and keep the lead on their way to victory.

Bradley Beal led the Wizards in scoring with 30 points on 12/23 shooting from the field adding seven assists and four rebounds. This is the 14th game this season where Bradley Beal has scored at least 30 points and his eighth game of at least 30 points in the last 10 games.

Rookie Rui Hachimura scored 20 points while Shabazz Napier scored 15 points on 5/7 shooting off the bench and 3/4 from three-point range.Ian Mahinmi finished with 15 points and six rebounds for the Wizards, Moritz Wagner finished with 12 points and Davis Bertans scored 10 points.

For the Bulls, Zach Lavine led all scorers with 41 points on 15/21 shooting from the field and 8/11 from three-point range. Former Wizards guard Tomas Satoransky finished the game with 19 points and eight assists and rookie Coby White finished with 14 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

The Washington Wizards are currently three games behind the Orlando Magic for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. The team will go on the road tomorrow to play the New York Knicks which will be their final game before the All-Star break.
