Tell us about your recent release:

LNO Jay – My recent single release “Clockwork” featuring Honcho Dior & Jay1k has generated a buzz for us. This highly anticipated single release was introduced on my Instagram page back on July 2nd of this year as a preview of the exhilarating official music video. After receiving numerous positive feedbacks throughout the city and full support behind my label, Destined For Greatness & Losing Is Not An Option Entertainment I finally dropped it on YouTube September 9th, 2020, and on all DSP’s two days later. The single is set to be a statement that shows I can freestyle, be collaborative, and still make a hit song. I also have been hinting at my upcoming album release called “2 AM”, release date to be announced.

Who inspired you to make music?

LNO Jay – When I was young, I used to write. I’m a good writer… and when I would let people hear it, they would tell me to record it. Eventually, I took that advice and did that and became great at it.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

LNO Jay – I’m versatile. I create whatever music everyone like. I also make related music so my fans and others can feel it on a more personal level.

What is your creative process like?

LNO Jay – My creativity comes from my heart and my mind. I put together music strictly on how I feel at the moment and from real-life situations.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

LNO Jay – Boss Rico. I feel like Boss Rico was the greatest to ever step into the studio. Long Live Boss Rico…

What is one message you would give to your fans?

LNO Jay – I love you all! Thank you for the support, I’m doing this for both of us.

What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?

LNO Jay – Sports maybe, or just trying to make it in life, I’d also go study more into music production.

LNO Jay – Bliss Night Club and Peace Lounge in Washington, D.C.

How would you say Social Media has impacted your music career?

LNO Jay – Just marketing and promoting my music on social media. Social media is known to be an attractive hobby a lot of people do on a daily basis. Instagram and Twitter are known to be the most effective social media platforms to grow as an artist.

LNO Jay – Drake and Lil Wayne

What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?

LNO Jay – Losing my close brother, Boss Rico, got me in trouble just because I was the closest to him.

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

LNO Jay – Never give up.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

LNO Jay – Hopefully, the industry does better creating record deals and contracts for our artists. We deserve more and we deserve better for our art, our craft, and our passion. Our world is changing and adapting, record labels need to adapt.
