Ways To Give Back Without Using Your Coins



It’s 17 days into the New Years, have you made a resolution? Many people choose to cut back spending habits or eating habits. How about giving back? Here are a few ways you can give back to your community without donating money.

Your Time

    Every community should have a shelter or charities that you could volunteer at during your free time . You could help fix plate of foods, collect food donations, clean school playground or parks and a lot more.    Donate Clothes You’be Out Grown
Clean out your closet! Instead of trying to sell items on apps such as Let Go – you could actually donate item to the Good Samaritan or a charity in your town. Donate Food (Can Goods)
Clean out your cabinets! If you didn’t know certain can goods don’t expire for 6 years – if kept in a dark cool place, such as your cabinet. We all have certain can goods or box good laying around that we know for sure we’re not going to use. What you can do with these extra can good are – box them up and take them to your local food bank. Give Blood

January is indeed National Blood Donation month and giving blood can have a big impact -not just your community, but around the global. Blood contains essential life-saving elements that aid the body to fight against illnesses and injuries. You can donate blood at Red Cross or Virginia Blood Services in the DMV area.
