Wizards match Nets’ $106 Million offer for Otto Porter Jr.

The Washington Wizards  matched the Brooklyn Nets’ offer for restricted free agent Otto Porter Jr.

The Nets and Porter reached an agreement Wednesday on an offer sheet that would pay Porter the max of $106 million over four years.

Porter now becomes the highest-paid Wizards player and has a no-trade clause for the season.

Porter is a good role player to compliment superstar John Wall and star Bradley Beal.

However, the Wizards must lock up John Wall long term and get another superstar to compete with the Celtics and Cavs.
