All 12 WNBA Teams Will Be Added To NBA 2K20
Taking the same path as their competitor NBA Live, NBA 2K20 will be introducing the WNBA’s 12 teams this year. Today a trailer was released that featured WNBA superstars Candace Parker and Breanna Stewart.
Uproxx.com reports that NBA 2k is taking the time to create a full WNBA gameplay engine. The mode will be ready when NBA 2K20 releases Sept. 6. NBA Live 18 was the first game to ever feature the WNBA roster.
Parker spoke about the new featured mode in a press release.
“Just like my counterparts in the NBA, I grew up playing NBA 2K. After getting myself scanned and integrated into NBA 2K20 earlier this summer, I was amazed at how 2K is able to replicate women’s basketball at such a realistic level. You can tell they are taking the time to capture the essence of the WNBA and have created an immersive experience that all fans of basketball will love.” – Parker
