The Number One Overall Pick Signs With The Jordan Brand
Former Duke superstar freshman and current first overall pick for New Orleans Pelicans Zion Williamson signed with the Jordan Brand this Tuesday. The deal is reported to be seven years and worth $75 M.
Williamson had this to say on his decision signing to the world-renowned brand.
“I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of the Jordan Brand family. Since I was a kid, I dreamed of making it to the league and having the type of impact on the game Michael Jordan had and continues to have today. He was one of those special athletes I looked up to, and I really can’t express how happy and excited I am for this journey.” – Zion Williamson
Willamson and his family received an exclusive tour of Nike’s facility back in June at Beaverton, Oregon. 67% of the NBA currently wears Nike basketball sneakers.
With the hype surrounding the rookie its only right that he follows in number 23’s footsteps.
