Baltimore Police are investigating shooting incidents that left one man dead, another man injured and two women injured on Christmas Day.
An unidentified man was found with a gunshot wound to the chest around 6:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of Presstman St. in Sandtown-Winchester, city police said. The man was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The shooting pushed the city’s number of homicide victims to 331. Thirteen people have been killed since Saturday.
Baltimore City police are also investigating a double shooting that happened around 12:30 a.m. in the first block of South Carey Street in West Baltimore. Two women, 33 and 30, were shot, police said. The 33-year-old was taken to an area hospital and is in critical but stable condition. The 30-year-old victim was also hospitalized. She is in good condition, police said.
Around 10:36 a.m., officers had been in the 3800 block of Hayward Ave. when they heard gunshots in the Arlington neighborhood of Northwest Baltimore. Officers responded to the location and found a 41-year-old man who was shot in the stomach. The man was taken to the hospital and is in serious condition, police said.
Detectives learned that the man was walking along the block in the neighborhood before a silver Kia pulled onto the block. The passenger was wearing a pink-and-white hoodie and left his vehicle and shot the man, police said.
Police have not identified any of the victims.
