Baltimore Man Charged In Prince George’s County Murder Of Transgender Woman

A man from Baltimore has been arrested in the murder of Zoe Spears, a transgender woman who was fatally shot in Fairmount Heights the night of June 13.

Spears was found shot to death in Fairmount Heights the night of June 13th. She was only 23 years old.

On Wednesday, Geraldo Thomas, 33, of Baltimore, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond.

The investigation started with images of a Dodge Caravan captured from a security camera across the street from where the shooting took place.

After Detectives found the van they believe was in the video, the determined that was rented from an Enterprise franchise in Baltimore by Thomas after being involved in a car accident.
