The Baltimore Ravens begin their road to redemption following a disappointing end to their 2019 season with a dominant 38-6 win over the Cleveland Browns. This is the third year in a row the Ravens have won their season opener by 30 points or more.
Reigning league MVP Lamar Jackson played excellent in his season debut finishing with 275 passing yards on 20/25 passing and three touchdowns. He also had 45 rushing yards on seven attempts giving him 320 total yards.
Ravens rookie running back J.K. Dobbins scored two rushing touchdowns making him just the fifth running around in the past 20 years to run for two touchdowns in his NFL debut.
Third-year Ravens tight end Mark Andrews totaled 58 receiving yards on five catches scoring two touchdowns. Receiver Willie Snead IV had 64 receiving yards on four catches scoring a touchdown, while Marquise Brown finished with 101 receiving yards on five catches.
This is the fifth year in a row the Ravens have won in their season opener with their last loss coming in 2015 against the eventual Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.
The Ravens defense forced three Browns turnovers with two coming off fumble recoveries and an interception by All-Pro CB Marlon Humphrey.
Next week the Ravens will play on the road for the first time this season as they face the Houston Texans.
