Footlocker hosted its first community event in Baltimore on Saturday, March 20th. The event was held in West Baltimore on Calhoun street.
Footlocker partnered with Kick Dreams United, founded by Tony Hardy, and collected 500 pairs of sneakers to distribute. They also partnered with the FACE community centered in Baltimore to bless West Baltimore residents with free food and haircuts.
Over 500 pairs of shoes and food boxes were given away during the event. Footlocker has been focusing on a community approach and they have been making an effort to give back to cities throughout the country.
Tyrin Gray, a professional photographer from East Baltimore, partnered with Foot Locker’s marketing and media team to capture the moments.
Led by Sharad Bhavnani of InHouse Design NY and Munch Steele, Footlocker’s marketing is becoming one of the most visible and efficient teams in the retail industry. Tyrin was blessed with the opportunity to be a part of the team and make a strong impact.
