It’s a relaxed song, the TDE mainstays Jay Rock and Kendrick K=Lamar trade bars over producer Sounwave’s pan fast in-fluxed beat, and this video matches the vibe perfectly. It’s a top down convertible cruising song with the visuals to match that vibe until a guy randomly sprints across a baseball field with his feet on fire towards the end.
It’s the eighth video to get a release from Jay Rock album released earlier this year “Redemption “and, while most of the video is straight forward, director Jack Begert added dynamic visual touches. This show the most in a sequence in which he alternates slowing down the motions of Jay Rock and Lamar while they’re dancing next to each other. And there’s a guy with his shoes on fire, running across a baseball field.
Quite a clever snippet the illustrate the overall greatness of the song and thus makes this video a must watch from me.
