Background of Baby Phat

20 years ago Leissner created the women’s streetwear brand as an extension as of Phat Farm clothing line. From 2000 to 2010 she served as the creative director.

In 2004 it was sold to Kellwood by Russell Simmons for $140 million. Leissner stayed on until 2010 and decided to part ways.
