Man Arrested For Murder of Taylor Hayes

A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the murder of 7-year-old Taylor Hayes.
On July 5, Hayes was sitting in the backseat of a car in West Baltimore and struck by a bullet. She died two weeks later from her wounds.
Keon Gray has been charged with the murder and other related charges in Haye’s death. He is currently being extradited back to Baltimore from Anne Arundel County to face the charges.
34-year-old Daneka McDonald, Gray’s girlfriend, is also being charged as an accessory after the fact.
Shanika Robinson, Taylor Haye’s mother, and her aunt Ebony Ward spoke briefly during a press conference this afternoon about the arrest. They thanked the Baltimore City police for their efforts.
