Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was not too excited after his $200,000 donation to a children’s food charity was rejected.

No Kid Hungry is a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating childhood hunger, turned down the donation, informing USA Today in a statement:

“We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation. As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”

When explicitly asked which “activities” did not align with the group’s mission, a spokesperson for the organization declined to comment further.

6ix9ine had a lot to say in a now-deleted post on his Instagram page.

“@nokidhungry would rather take food out of the mouth of innocent children,” he wrote. “I have never seen something so cruel.”

Back in March, Tekashiwas released from federal prison, serving the remaining four months of his two-year racketeering sentence in home confinement.

The rapper was sentenced in December after testifying against members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang. The deal earned him leniency from charges that could have subjected him to a mandatory minimum of 37 years in prison for crimes that included orchestrating a shooting in which an innocent bystander was wounded.
