Media is a platform that allows all types of people to relate to one another via different topics, news, hot topics, latest music, basically anything. Without the use of media we’d all have no clue what was going on in the world, and we all need to be aware.

What’s the HBCU round table?
Our mission is TO ADVOCATE for Historically Black Colleges & Universities by utilizing network, social media and entertainment to unite like minded individuals and allowing them to enhance the “HBCU Culture” inside and out of our campus communities.
G6 & Affiliates started as a group of like minded individuals networking together to solve current issues happening inside and out of our campus communities. Today, The HBCURoundtable, using the vision of the G6&Affiliates motto “No one man can make change, we need unity to BE THE CHANGE” as the foundation, has become a mass group of dedicated and tenacious individuals advocating for the funding and advancement of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, as well as the enhancement of the campus life and HBCU culture on and off campus, seen through the voice of the average “HBCU student” powered by the principles: “Higher Education, Service, and most importantly, “Litness” ( Entertainment).
The HBCURoundtable, just like some of the many great black organizations in history, was founded at Howard University – Washington, DC in 2014. However, we are not limited to just HBCUs. Our platform opens up a wide range of networking, allowing future Black Business Owners, aspiring artists, DJ’s, promoters, photographers, and a variety of talented others to collaborate and with one another and to promote not only themselves, but also their brand.
Since 2014, through the perspective of HBCU students, The HBCURoundtable has been captivating the full on “HBCU experience” from athletics, Greek Life & campus events, to the basic cultures of HBCU’s which entails school spirit along-side a sense of family and “feeling like home”. Today, we continue to enhance that bond by connecting individuals from all over the world through different social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr,  GroupMe & AirTime as well as using our own talents and resources to plan, execute & host successful environments where these people can network together while having a little fun too!
Define HBCU culture in a word. -Valuable
