Woman smashes bus window in DC, hits driver with car in road rage incident

A woman was caught on camera smashing a bus window and striking the bus driver with her vehicle in the District, according to officials.

DC police released video of the incident, which they said happened at the intersection of Bladensburg Road, NE and New York Avenue, NE on Thursday.

In the video, you can see a woman using a car jack to smash the bus window. The video also appears to show the driver of the bus trying to stop the woman from driving off when she strikes him with the vehicle multiple times.

Authorities said they have identified the suspect, though they did not release the suspect’s name. Detectives said the incident remained under investigation.
