Artist of the Month: Topdolla Sweizy

For the Month of November we have the pleasure making TopDolla Sweizy the Artist of the Month.

TopDolla Sweizy is a rap artist from Washington, DC who has love for hip-hop and gogo.  He began working on his craft after releasing  his first single”Stupid Wild” and creating his imprint Sweizy Gang. TopDolla Sweizy has opened up for big acts such as Ace Hood and Plies and looks forward to evolving into a remarkable artist. He lives by the theory of making music not only for people to dance but music that people can relate to and more importantly make a difference.

TopDolla has collaborated and performed at live shows with Go-Go bands such as XIB and TOB. He gained more local buzz among the youth after releasing “Young Girls Clap” featuring Yung Chris from TOB back in 2011. TopDolla has released numerous singles and mixtapes such as”Posh on my D*ck”, “Posh 4 Sale”, “I Got Ice”, “Who The F**k is TopDolla Sweizy”,  “Heart In The Hood”  and “Hi 5 To The Plug” just to name a few. 

Outside of rap, TopDolla is known for giving back to community and hosting community based projects. One of them being the “Fat Back Pack Giveaway” where him and members of Sweizy Gang gave away band new shoes, clothes and school supplies to kids in the DMV area.
