Ya Mon” it is true, music streaming platform Audiomack has launched a new campaign bringing more awareness to Jamaican artists called Sounds of Jamaica. The brand is continuing its ongoing support of islands by now pushing a series of playlists showcasing some of the hottest creative talents from Jamaica and promote them worldwide through numerous channels.

Sounds of Jamaica is using an authentic method to bring more light to the campaign by working with actual Jamaican DJs and awareness to narratives. This campaign will empower the island natives and gives them the chance to write their own history in comparison to other platforms that only bring awareness to particular countries.

“Since we’re a discovery platform, we wanted DJs from various parts of Jamaica to highlight
artists from that area. We’re going to be pushing the playlists periodically throughout our
platform, and it will run from now until June. The DJs with the most plays, we’re going to do something special for them and their community!
– Tanya Lawson, Director of Afrobeats and Caribbean at Audiomack.

Simultaneously pushing and protecting boundaries, Audiomack is once again an ally to the
artistry of the Caribbean. Stay tuned for more Sounds of Jamaica playlists soon.

The playlists went live recently and will continue to be released in that same vein each Thursday until June. The first three DJs are ZJ Nova (St. Elizabeth), DJ Absolute (Westmoreland), and DJ Zen (St. Catherine).
